Box of 3 “Coussins de Lyon” – The Iconic Lyonnaise Confectionery
Voisin, master chocolatier in Lyon since 1897, carries on the art of French confectionery with refined creations that celebrate the rich gourmet heritage of the region.
The Box of 3 Coussins de Lyon by Voisin embodies the tradition and excellence of French chocolate-making. This specialty, officially listed in France’s national inventory of regional delicacies, features a smooth dark chocolate ganache (70% cocoa) subtly flavored with curaçao, delicately wrapped in a fine layer of candied green almond paste. The secret recipe requires four days of meticulous craftsmanship, ensuring a melt-in-the-mouth texture and a perfect balance between the sweetness of almond and the intensity of dark chocolate. Each “cushion” is inspired by Lyon's history, paying tribute to the silk cushion offered to the Virgin Mary during the aldermen’s procession in 1643—a symbol of protection and gratitude.
Share or savor a piece of Lyon’s authenticity with the Box of 3 Coussins de Lyon by Voisin—an exceptional confectionery gift for special occasions.
