The Maison Thomas was established in 1956 by Gilbert Thomas, the grandfather of Tristan Thomas, who has been leading the confectionery since 2011.

"We've been rooted here for so long that our story is intimately tied to that of the city of Saint-Etienne and its residents."

While initially starting as a grocery store, the shop has now diversified to offer a wide selection of French chocolates, gourmet confectioneries, as well as dragees, specialty coffees, and gourmet groceries.
